Job Title: Responsible Individual for Complex Need’s Homes (Lancashire)

An exciting new opportunity has arisen within Associated Wellbeing for an experienced Ofsted Responsible Individual for our complex need’s homes. Children living in these homes are likely to have more complex needs than children living in our mainstream Ofsted registered homes, they may have a Deprivation of Liberty Order in place, they are likely to have complex emotional, behavioural and mental health needs. It is an exciting time to join Associated Wellbeing as we are an ever-growing company who is expanding its portfolio of residential homes for children, which in turn brings new and exciting opportunities for our workforce. At the current time we have three registered and open homes, with three more awaiting registration, an Ofsted registered Supported Accommodation Service and an Ofsted registered SEMH school. Our complex need’s homes are based in East Lancashire. Associated Wellbeing are in a privileged position to have our own multi-disciplinary team in house, which includes our Consultant Psychologist, DBT therapists, Occupational Therapist and Social Workers. What we want from you – You must be an experienced Responsible Individual with at least one years’ experience already working in a Responsible Individual role. Applicants with less than one years’ experience will not be considered for this role. You must have a significant amount of experience as a manager and leader within a children’s residential setting, with experience of leading Ofsted inspections. You must have previous experience of supporting children via Deprivation of Liberty Orders. You must have a relevant qualification in childcare, social work, residential or other area applicable to children. Within this role you will manage a number of Registered Managers, you therefore must have strong leadership and supervision skills. Job Title: Consultant Clinical Psychologist (Lancashire)

Job Type: Full time, permanent contract, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm The Role: We have an exciting and unique opportunity for the role of Consultant Clinical Psychologist to join our team here at Associated Wellbeing to oversee the psychological needs of children in our homes. It is an exciting time to join Associated Wellbeing as we are an ever-growing company who is expanding its portfolio of residential homes for children, which in turn brings new and exciting opportunities for our workforce. We work with children aged 8 - 17 who have complex trauma, and/or additional social, emotional and mental health needs. Our referrals come from various sources, predominantly Children's Social Care and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. The Clinical Psychologist will play a part in identifying, providing and promoting appropriate means of support to the clinical team. Our ideal candidate: •Post-graduate doctoral level training (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) in clinical psychology, or counselling psychology, as accredited by the BPS. •Training should include specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuro-psychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology. •HCPC Registration as Practitioner Psychologist: Clinical Psychologist. •Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course and presenting with the full range of clinical severity around mental health concerns across the full range of care settings including outpatient, community, primary care, in-patient and residential care settings including maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive and distressing problems, verbal abuse and the threat of physical abuse. •Experience of delivering evidence-based treatment using a range of modalities in a number of cultural contexts. •Experience of teaching, training and / or supervision. •Supervised experience of evidence-based treatment in relation to children with mental health concerns. •Empathetic to people and kind •Good communication skills •A desire to genuinely help other people and make a difference •Honesty and integrity •Kind, caring and compassionate Key responsibilities: •To join the multi-disciplinary Service in the delivery of mental health care to children and young people and their families, including involvement in the multi-disciplinary assessment pathway. •To manage a small team of DBT therapists. •To provide specialist psychological and / or mental health input to children and young people and their families/carers. •To provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation and therapy. •To offer advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to colleagues from all disciplines and to individuals external to us working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the service's policies and procedures. •To support the psychological assessment and therapy provided by other professionals and to offer supervision as agreed per job plan. Job Title: Lead Nurse and Deputy Manager, The Lighthouse (Darwen)

Starting salary- £52,000 Full-time 38.5 Hours Are you ready to step into a unique clinical role where you can make a difference to children’s lives? We’re thrilled to announce a brand new and rare opening for the unique position of a Deputy Manager at The Lighthouse. The Lighthouse is a 4 bedded child and adolescent mental health unit based in Darwen, Lancashire. The service is an independent hospital delivered by Associated Wellbeing. The service aims to provide step-down from child and adolescent mental health inpatient units. The Lighthouse is in a privileged position to have its own inhouse multi-disciplinary team made up of Nurses, Clinical Psychologist, Consultant Psychiatrist and Registered Social Worker, these are professionals you would work closely with within the role as Clinical Lead. It is an exciting time to join Associated Wellbeing as we are an ever-growing company who is expanding its portfolio of residential homes for children, which in turn brings new and exciting opportunities for our workforce. What we want from you – + You must be a qualified Mental Health Nurse with previous inpatient experience. + You must have previous management experience as the role requires you to be our Lead Nurse and Deputy Manager for The Lighthouse. This role means you will manage our 4 clinical leads and would be suited to someone with previous ward manager experience. + Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate others. + Commitment to upholding the highest standards of care, professionalism and ethical conduct. + Passion for making a difference in the lives of the children we care for. + You will be required to work a mixture of days and nights, depending on service need.
