WHAT WE DO

The Elms is a step-down rehabilitation provision, providing intensive psychological treatment and support for service users identified as requiring rehabilitation support, via psychological therapy and interventions. Young people will have access to a full Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) program, an evidence-based approach aimed at supporting young people to develop skills to: become more mindful of and to manage difficult and intensely felt emotions; to tolerate distress and manage impulsive urges, and to improve their relationships with others.
