Pennine School

Evidence based, Trauma-Informed Education

As part of our commitment to educational innovation, we will be using the Boxall Profile to help formulate personalised interventions. This evidence-based tool provides a structured framework for identifying the social, emotional, and behavioural needs of our pupils- particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). By highlighting areas of developmental delay or unmet emotional needs, the Boxall Profile enables us to tailor support strategies that foster emotional regulation, build resilience, and remove barriers to learning.

To ensure holistic and responsive care, Pennine School will also be supported by a multidisciplinary team - including qualified Teachers and Teaching Assistants trained in emotional wellbeing and mental health along with access to a Consultant Psychiatrist, Consultant Psychologist and Therapists.
