About the service

The Lighthouse is Associated Wellbeing's specialist CQC-regulated step-down service in Darwen, Lancashire supporting children and young people aged 8–17 who require ongoing therapeutic intervention following inpatient admission, or who would benefit from intensive mental health support within a smaller, nurturing environment.

Our multidisciplinary team provides trauma-informed, clinically led care that promotes emotional stability, resilience, and successful reintegration into community settings.

Who we support

We support young people who:

• Are stepping down from Tier 4 CAMHS services
• Require ongoing therapeutic input within a residential setting
• Present with complex emotional and mental health needs
• Have experienced placement instability linked to mental health difficulties
• Need a structured, therapeutic environment to aid recovery
